As individuals, groups, communities and charities, our wish is to unite everyone in helping further charitable and philanthropic endeavours by bringing people, expertise and funds together.
Cause
Furthering philanthropic causes that are close to our hearts. Our philosophy is to help support causes in whatever way we can, whether that's using our extensive network of contacts, helping fundraise or provide support and guidance.
United Cause has been created to give great ideas and unique charities a chance. Those that need help and support can contact United Cause and we'll be happy to talk and discuss how we can help support you.
Our preference is to work with charities in the South East of England, however if you need our help and you're further away then please do still get in touch as we may be able to help.
Our Founders
Terry & Barbara Woods BCAv
Having built and run successful, multi-million-pound businesses, Terry and Barbara Woods sold their business interests in 2024 to focus entirely on philanthropy and supporting causes closest to their hearts.
For over 37 years, while leading United Business Group, they worked closely with charities, raising over £827,000 for organisations such as The Teenage Cancer Trust, The Brain and Spine Foundation, and The Children’s Trust, while also donating specialist equipment like electric wheelchairs to those in need. Their goal is to significantly increase this figure through Gala dinners, personal donations, events, and fundraising initiatives.
Their dedication to charitable causes was formally recognised in 2023, when both Terry and Barbara were awarded the British Citizen Award for Volunteering & Charitable Giving (BCAv), celebrating their outstanding contribution to communities.
